We all love to blow off steam and if you were going to choose anywhere in the world to go and do it, I would say Las Vegas is definitely in the top 3!
And it seems that Salesforce thinks along the same lines; it was recently announced that Ceaser’s Entertainment has employed Bluewolf, an IBM company and Salesforce to reboot their marketing and analytics capabilities. Harnessing the power of Salesforce, Ceaser’s will be creating a smoother and more intelligent customer experience for their punters and expanding on the wide range of weird and wonderful experiences and services they offer.
I have no doubt that, with their advanced capabilities, Salesforce will be able to offer an end-to-end transformation of Ceaser’s. Indeed, as the VP of Marketing and Strategy put it:
No matter what their interests are, our partnership with Bluewolf and Salesforce allows us to better understand their needs and helps us take our customer service to the next level.”
This move by Ceaser’s also highlights the growing importance of the customer experience in the world of business today. Whether it’s purchasing a pair of shoes, or choosing to stay at Ceasers, customers today expect personalisation and they expect perfection from the first touch point. It is definitely interesting to see a business operating in a typically legacy industry (that of hospitality) choosing to invest so heavily in their digital and technological capabilities.
Because, what that means, is that Salesforces’ ability to provide these capabilities is now – clearly – industry agnostic. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw more and more of the ‘old school’ industries choosing to turn their attention to the likes of Salesforce and other software platforms that can help catapult them into the world of digital transformation, and help them to compete with digitally-native companies that are threatening their stability.
How much do you think Salesforce’s input in this business will change your next experience? if you’re not planning one then surely this is as good of an excuse as any!!
