I’ve been recruiting into the Workday eco-system for two years now and felt immediately at home from day one, this was mainly down to the brilliant community that exists within the Workday world which includes some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting (I will come onto these later).
Some people will ask why leave if you love the community so much but sometimes we have to focus on other areas of our life to become better at what we do.
I leave on the 21st December to fly to Japan for a ski season which has been a lifelong dream of mine, I get to ski every day in arguably the best conditions in the world and I couldn’t be more excited.
After I’ve finished my ski season I’ll be travelling onto the Phillipines, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and finally India where I plan to do my yoga teacher training.
This is a hugely exciting but also a nervous time for me, whether positive or negative, I believe change brings about the best in us and only through this change can we become the best versions of ourselves.
I want to give a special shout to Alisanne Ennis, Euan Robertson, Rob O’Donovan, Lucy Barrett and Bob Tricarico for helping me whenever they can and to everyone else who I’ve worked with in my time at ThirdRepublic.
Have a great Christmas and New Year and good luck in 2019.
